New Dates for '2020 APAN Music Awards' and '2020 APAN Star Awards' Announced

By
Dec 21, 2020
The "2020 APAN Music Awards" and "2020 APAN Star Awards" have been scheduled to later dates due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
On Nov. 19, it was reported that this year's APAN Music Awards and APAN Star Awards were postponed. According to the organizing committee of the two awards ceremonies, the social distancing level was raised to 1.5 in Seoul and its surrounding areas. This means gatherings of over 100 people at concert halls, stadiums, and other events are prohibited.
The 2020 APAN Music Awards was initially set to take place on Nov. 28 and the 2020 APAN Star Awards on Nov. 29. But since the safety of artists and involved personnel are considered the top priority, the organizing committee of the two ceremonies will follow preventive and quarantine management guidelines. The committee then recently announced that the two APAN awards will be held on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24 next year, respectively.
