Plans to repurpose the Marysville Museum building into a four-unit micro hotel are moving forward. In the upcoming fiscal year's budget, the City of Marysville plans to provide up to $250,0000 towards renovations of the building that once served as city hall. Marysville City Council has unanimously approved a plan for a new band shell in Marysville Park. Described as an amphitheater which could accommodate larger bands and theater productions, the new structure would take the place of the existing stricture which city officials say was in need of repair.
