KATHMANDU, Nov 27: The Basantpur substation constructed in Dharmadevi Municipality of Sankhuwasabha under the Koshi Corridor 220 kilovolt (KV) transmission line project has come into operation. The 220/132/33 kV capacity Basantpur substation built at an altitude of 2,450 meters above sea level has been officially charged and brought into operation by the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is going to make the electricity flowing in the industrial corridors located in Morang and Sunsari districts of Koshi Province reliable. The NEA has claimed to improve the transmission and distribution of current lines, build new lines, upgrade the capacity of substations and proceed with the construction of new substations in order to provide reliable and quality electricity to industrial and other customers in that area.
