Prince George city council expresses its concerns over proposed tax sale law changes that would sharpy increase administrative costs for BC municipalities
Municipal, regional district and hospital district taxes on an average house will total $3,012.84 in 2023.
The money comes from the BC Growing Communities Fund, announced in February.
The city’s finance and audit committee will recommend city council keep the business tax rate the same as 2022.
Voters have until March 30 to request a referendum be held on the issue.
