The inaugural workshop for a project on climate resilient crop varieties was held at Bangladesh Agricultural University on Thursday, said a press release. The project titled Adoption of Climate Resilient Crop Varieties in Selected Environmentally Vulnerable Areas of Bangladesh and Its Impact on Farm Productivity is funded by Krishi Gobeshona Foundation. The university’s agricultural economics department hosted the event, in which vice-chancellor Professor Lutful Hassan was the chief guest and the foundations’ executive director Jiban krishna Biswas was present as the chief patron.
