Social media companies get MeitY notices over child porn
The Ministry of Electronics and IT in India has issued notices to social media platforms including X, YouTube, and Telegram, warning them to remove child sexual abuse material (CSAM) from their platforms. Failure to comply could result in the withdrawal of safe harbor protection.
