The Odisha Police on Monday arrested 33 people from Sambalpur in connection with illegal sale of cough syrups, officials said. The state government has prohibited the use of drone cameras at venues where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit during his one-day trip to the western Odisha town of Sambalpur on February 3. The prime minister is scheduled to launch projects worth more than Rs 68,000 crore during a public programme in Sambalpur, official sources said.
The chief minister also congratulated the rescue teams – the ODRAF, Fire Services, the district administration, the police, medical team and praised their coordinated efforts.
