In Bihar, over 7 lakh apply for 80K primary school teacher posts; just 40,000 for 57,000 Class XII teacher posts
Bihar Public Service Commission has received 8.15 lakh applications for 1,70,000 positions for primary, secondary and higher secondary teachers. Out of the total applications, 7.70 lakh were received for primary teachers and 66,000 for secondary teachers. Only 40,000 candidates applied for the 57,000 positions for higher secondary teachers.
