Small fire leaves minimal damage to Slippery Rock building Jim Smith/Butler Eagle
A faulty light apparently started a small fire this morning at an office building on Arrowhead Drive in Slippery Rock Township, authorities said.
The fire started at about 7 a.m., was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
Firefighters from five departments in two counties responded after a call to 911 reported smoke and flames coming from the building at Arrowhead Pointe.
Fire crews got there and found the blaze on the side of the building that is vacant, said Capt. Kurt Reasner of the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company. The opposite side of the building houses Wise Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine.
