Four Vikings scored in double figures, led by 14 points from Jason Mullins. Mason Harris had 12 points and 11 rebounds, Aden Hathaway had 12 points and 11 assists, and Reagan Mayer had 11. Bronson dropped to 7-7 overall, 5-6 in the Big 8. Hillsdale Academy defeated visiting Quincy 63-40 in a last-minute addition to the schedule that became available when the Orioles’ scheduled game at Springport was scrubbed due to a COVID-19 quarantine situation and the Colts had to cancel their scheduled game against Tekonsha for similar reasons. Kyler Economou scored a team-high 24 points as Quincy fell to 5-8.
BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings improved to 7-6 overall and 5-5 in the Big 8 Conference as they escaped with a 50-47 victory over winless Springport. The Vikings trailed 25-21 at halftime but took control in the third quarter when they outscored the Spartans 16-8. Bronson overcame 29 percent shooting and 17 turnovers to get the win. Mason Harris led the Vikings with 13 points and four assists. Aden Hathaway added 11 points. Noah Houtz grabbed 10 rebounds. - The Reading Rangers used a 20-11 fourth quarter on Monday as they broke open a close game to defeat the Quincy Orioles 64-56. Quincy had a 45-44 lead heading into the final quarter. The Rangers avenged last weekâs  63-41 loss against the Orioles.

The rugged contest featured a total of 32 fouls and technical fouls on each team. Coldwater improved to 8-1 despite a 14-for-27 night at the foul line. The game was tied at 39-39 with two minutes to go but foul shots by Lu LeBron, Nate Tappenden and Brandon Downs along with a basket by Downs were enough to give Coldwater the win.

Quincy dug themselves a hole, down 19-4 at the end of the first quarter, then 34-19 at the half. Homer poured it on in the 3rd quarter, outscoring Quincy 31-18, to go aheaf 65-32 after three quarters. Kyler Economou had a massive game, despite the crushing defeat as he poured in 29 points and hauled down 13 rebounds. Ashtyn Morris scored six points and had 4 rebounds.
