Those discussions with those senators are on the wing as you mention, senator paul looking at may be taking two separate approaches, may be bringing those back together. we talked about that yesterday. i was on the phone last night at 11:00 with another senator looking at some of the issues. this is not about me negotiating, it s just about trying to help them understand where the house is. we believe we can get it done. we ve got to make sure that we drive premiums down, protect those pre-existing conditions. this is a solid start. we are not all the way they are. we are making progress though. shannon: a new cbo score expected on some of these provisions on monday. we know for a lot of senators holding out that that is critical for them. based on what you have seen as it stands right now, is it something that you can get enough conservatives in the house to vote for to get a complete package to the president s desk? we are still reviewing the final details of it, but i can tell y ....
Repeals employer mandate, protects provisions that you are not locked into buying just an obamacare policy if you are 22 and want to buy something other than ou obamacare policy you c. here s what i hope we can do as republicans offering alternatives to obamacare that makes sense and will actually help people. here s what makes the most sense to me. the government closest to the people is usually the best government, how about the idea that health care closest to the people is usually the best health care? ably allow states to do their own thing with some limitations, you got to take care of sick people, you can t spend on roads and bridges, i bet you this, some democrats will have a hard time going back home and telling their constituents i don t trust you and our government and our state to run health care. it s got to be run by some person in washington. that s a pretty hard list for some of these democrats. shannon: let s talk russia too. you think we haven t been nearly as hard ....
Affecting their state. we are going to take all of their money we got around obamacare and all of the policy and get it out of washington, send it back to the state so south carolina can come up with its own way of dealing with health care for south carolinians. california could do something else. you can t spend on roads and bridges. you got to spend it on health care but we will give you the flexibility the obamacare does not. if we do this, that s the end of single-payer health care. if we don t do this, one day, it will take over all of health care to send the money in policy back to the individual state. washington will not take over health care. shannon: will he get you to 50 votes? you have a couple that have leased or gone for good. we could be wrong, senator rand paul and susan collins, it sounds like at least one of them is not voting or both of them are gone. can you get this to even get to start the debate on the bill itself? i don t know. i hope so because mitch s idea ....
