Chief minister Naveen Patnaik virtually flagged off bus services for five more districts, including Ganjam, under Location Accessible Multimodal Initiative (LAccMI) scheme. A total of 255 buses will connect 1,057 panchayats in the five districts benefiting over 71 lakh people. The bus services under LAccMI scheme will boost economic development in the villages and make it easier for people and students from rural areas to travel to cities.

CM launches LAccMI scheme in Rayagada Koraput aimed at transforming transportation and bolstering rural connectivity. The scheme will provide services in blocks of Rayagada district, covering 182 panchayats with a network of at least 39 routes.
