The Daily Telegram ADRIAN Officials are moving forward with establishing permits, fees and locations for food trucks to operate in the city of Adrian. At its meeting Monday, the Adrian City Commission had the first reading of an ordinance that would let the commission determine where in the city food trucks could operate as well as establish a fee schedule for permits for those trucks. A special meeting for the ordinance s second reading and possible adoption was set for June 1. The commission s next regular meeting is not until June 7, and commissioners wanted an earlier meeting after expressing concern that the process for establishing the criteria for allowing food trucks on private property could stretch into the summer. ....
