340 Women Beat Up Husbands In Domestic Violence In Last One Year – Lagos State Government

At least 340 cases of women beating up their husbands were recorded in Lagos State in the last 12 months, according to a government report. This was made known by the Executive Secretary, of Lagos Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, DSVA, Mrs Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, in a quarterly report of the agency. She added that the number of males reporting domestic abuse had doubled in recent years. Between September 2022 and July 2023, 340 males reported incidences of domestic violence perpetrated by their wives, according to Vivour-Adeniyi. ....
