India is set to launch its first solar mission, Aditya-L1, on September 2. Scientists hope that the data collected from this mission will provide new insights into the past, present, and future of the Sun, as well as potential climatic changes on Earth. The mission will transmit data from the First Lagrangian point, which is about 1.5 million km from Earth.
