MSP Newsroom - The Michigan State Police Houghton Lake Post is gathering new purses to be filled with comfort items to benefit survivors of sexual assault. Donations are being accepted through April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, at the Houghton Lake Post located at 9011 W. Lake City Road, Houghton Lake, MI 48629. The post hours are M-F from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
