Glaxosmithkline to leave behind jobs and investment legacy in Ulverston
A LEGACY of hundreds of jobs and community investment is due to be left when one of Ulverston’s largest employers closes its site. Glaxosmithkline has agreed ‘concrete’ steps to support employment and development when its site closes as planned in 2025. The pharmaceuticals company has granted £500,000 in funding in initiatives to secure 238 jobs at other local jobs.
