Controversial tender awarded to VUT was interdicted
A controversial multimillion-rand security tender that was allegedly awarded by the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) to a less preferred bidder has been successfully interdicted in court. This was after Kya Guards on December 2 brought an urgent court challenge to the awarding of the tender to PhiriPhiri Security Services. The matter was heard at the Johannesburg High Court on December 18.
