Blackburne Arms pub saved from demolition as appeal dismissed
The Blackburne Arms THE Blackburne Arms has been saved after developers failed in a bid to overturn a decision to refuse planning permission for the pub's demolition. Warrington Borough Council refused to grant consent for a scheme that would have seen the historic watering hole in Orford bulldozed in order to make way for 52 apartments in March last year.
