Monday morning crash sends two to hospital
Courtesy-Sheriff Myers FB page COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched early Monday morning to the 8300 block of 25th Street in reference to a two-vehicle crash. Upon arrival at about 5:20 a.m., deputies found two vehicles with significant front-end damage. One driver, Wayne Fields, 66, of Hartsville, was airlifted to a trauma center in Indianapolis. The other driver, Lane Lugh, 25, of North Vernon, was taken to Columbus Regional Health. The accident remains under investigation by authorities.
