O'Rourke calls for immediate plan to address Speech and Language Therapy waiting lists in Meath

LMFM By Michael Carolan Over 1,500 people in the county are awaiting assessment or therapy Local Sinn Féin TD Darren O’Rourke is calling for an immediate plan from the Government to address Speech and Language Therapy waiting lists in Meath. Figures received from the HSE show that 1,550 people in the county, including 240 children, are awaiting some form of SLT assessment or therapy. The Meath East Deputy says speech and language therapists play a vital role in supporting some of our most vulnerable people to reach their full potential:
