Town councillor Ken Walker was left with life-threatening injuries after assault in family home
Ken Walker, 88, died at Kingsmill Hospital in Mansfield on Monday.
Ken Walker, 88, was found severely injured next to his wife's body at their home in Langwith Junction, Derbyshire, on January 15. His wife Freda, 86, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination is taking place to ascertain the cause of Ken Walker's death.
Freda Walker and her husband were discovered at their home after being attacked in January.
