When it was first announced a couple of years ago, the Max Pack was touted as having a gross capacity of 180 kWh, but the version that’s currently being fitted to customer vehicles is 17% smaller.
Rivian has released its new Max pack, which enables the new Dual-Motor version of the truck to reach 410 miles of range.
A Max Pack-equipped R1S starts from $94,000 and has an estimated range of 400 miles with 21-inch wheels and the firm’s proprietary dual-motor setup that makes 533 hp.
Rivian offers the most range for an electric pickup truck or three-row SUV, but it won't for much longer.
