VDH Launches Water Lead Testing Program

There were 176 new Indiana laws approved this year by the Republican-controlled General Assembly and enacted by Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb, mostly during the month of March.

A rehabbed lot on Indianapolis' Far Eastside is now part of a pilot project and research study to determine if transforming these spaces can mitigate lead exposure.

"Families shouldn’t have to face the threat of lead contamination in their drinking water or in their homes," said U.S. Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind.
