The cause leading ntsb's chairman to conclude amtrak's safety culture is failing and is primed to fail again. that morning and report were released on november 14th just one month later, december 18th, amtrak 501 crashed. the ntsb says its investigation could take anywhere from 12 to 24 months. in the meantime, the new president at amtrak is promising to improve safety on all operations at amtrak and especially on training for new routes. >> sadly a wake up call, thank you. we'll be right back.
