Invictus Energy has provided an update on the Mukuyu-1 well that is currently being drilled in its 80% owned SG 4571 licence in Zimbabwe’s Cabora Bassa Basin. The Exalo Rig 202 contract has been extended for 12 months to remain in the Cabora Bassa Basin and will recommence drilling at either Mukuyu-2 or Baobab-1 in 2023.

Invictus Energy has provided an update on the Mukuyu-1 well currently being drilled in its SG 4571 licence in Zimbabwe’s Cabora Bassa Basin. Total Depth of 3,618mMD has been reached and multiple zones have been encountered with fluorescence and elevated gas shows in the Upper Angwa primary target, confirming a working conventional hydrocarbon system in the Cabora Bassa Basin.
