Clarksville Now CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Arnold Hodges, District 6 county commissioner, passed away early Sunday at the age of 69 following a long battle with leukemia. “We lost an awfully good county commissioner,” Mayor Jim Durrett told Clarksville Now. “It’s a sad day in Montgomery County.” A lifetime resident of the Cunningham area, Hodges served 35 years as a forest technician for the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
