One of the takeaways from this year’s Educause Horizon Report is that there’s likely no such thing as a return to normal: Many of the changes that higher education has undergone over the past couple of years are here to stay. To delve into the details of what’s on the horizon for higher ed in 2022, we spoke with Kathe Pelletier, director of Educause’s Teaching and Learning Program and co-author of the report.

Capital Workforce Partners has launched its annual Summer Youth Employment and Learning Program for young people hoping to make money and gain work experience later this year. The program connects youth in north central Connecticut and Hartford between 14 and 24 years old with paying summer jobs and career readiness training. Per CWP, wages in the program range from $12 to $14 per hour. During the six-week program, participants will be placed with employers in high-demand sectors like retail, education, and health care at worksites throughout the capital region.
