Eight people including four children were abducted in the 18 hours till this morning in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar.
A young man, who suffered gunshot wounds during Chandanaish municipality election violence, died at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) today. The deceased was identified as Md Habib (20), son of Md Ledu Mia. Officer-in-Charge of Chandanaish Police Station said the youth was shot on February 14 during violence centering polls. Habib died this afternoon, the OC said.
