Keokuk man arrested on felony drug charges

Keokuk, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has reported the arrest of a Keokuk man on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. On Monday, November 7th, 60-year-old Russell Vandermartin of Keokuk was arrested in the 1400 block of Palean Street. Keokuk Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on Vandermartin to take him into custody on pending felony and misdemeanor drug charges. Vandermartin is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver more than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, Possession of Controlled Substances, Maintaining a Drug House, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrest of Vandermartin stems from a search warrant that was executed at his residence by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force, and was in reference to an investigation into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of methamphetamine.

Keokuk man and woman arrested on felony drug and weapons charges

Keokuk, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of a Keokuk man and woman on felony drug and weapons charges. On Wednesday, November 2nd, 28-year-old Dalton Meyers and 27-year-old Miranda Meyers, both of Keokuk, were arrested in the 2200 block of Highway 61 Bypass in Fort Madison. The arrests stem from a traffic stop conducted by Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff's Office. During the traffic stop investigation, Dalton Meyers was taken into custody on pending charges of Delivery of More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, and Drug Tax Stamp Violation. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 230 grams of methamphetamine, about a half pound, and a firearm in Miranda Meyers's possession. Dalton Meyers was additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine and Drug Tax Stamp Violation. Miranda Meyers was charged with Conspiracy to Possess Intent to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Drug Tax Stamp Violation. The arrests of Dalton and Miranda Meyers are the result of an investigation into allegations that the two were involved in the distribution of methamphetamine in the Lee County area.

Keokuk, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of a Keokuk man on felony drug and weapons charges. 27-year-old Zachary Bennett of Keokuk was arrested Tuesday, October 25th, in the 1300 block of Carroll Street in Keokuk. Bennet was arrested on multiple felony warrants including Possession with Intent to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, and Drug Tax Stamp Violation. A search of Bennett's property revealed a large amount of marijuana and methamphetamine, along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Bennett was additionally charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver More Than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, Possession of Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The punishments for the charges are enhanced as Bennett is a habitual offender and was within 1,000 feet of a public park.

Keokuk, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has announced the arrest of a Keokuk man on felony drug charges. 37-year-old Kalief Farrell of Keokuk was arrested Monday, October 10th, in the 10 block of North 7th Street in Keokuk. Farrell is charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance; Marijuana. The arrest of Farrell stems from an investigation into allegations that Farrell was involved in the distribution of marijuana in the Lee County Area. The Lee County Sheriff's Office, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Lee County Attorney's Office assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in these investigations.

Keokuk, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has reported the arrests of three Keokuk men and three Keokuk women on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. On Friday, September 16th, the Lee County Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Cedar Street in Keokuk. As a result, 38-year-old Ian Anthony Keefe, 29-year-old Adrienna Blentlinger, 32-year-old William McDermott, 30-year-old Brandy Boecker, 64-year-old Susan Clancy, and 57-year-old Blaine Clancy all of Keokuk were arrested on multiple drug related charges. The arrests stem from an investigation into the use and distribution of controlled substances from the residence the six were living in. The charges for the individuals include: Keefe was charged with: Possession with Intent to Deliver More Than 5 Grams Methamphetamine – Class B Felony; Drug Tax Stamp Violation – Class D Felony; Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana – Class D Felony; Prohibited Acts: Maintaining a Drug House – Aggravated Misdemeanor; Possession of Controlled Substance: Psilocybin – Aggravated Misdemeanor; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple Misdemeanor. Brentlinger was arrested for an active probation violation warrant and also charged with: Possession with Intent to Deliver More Than 5 Grams Methamphetamine; Drug Tax Stamp Violation; Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana; Prohibited Acts: Maintaining a Drug House; Possession of Controlled Substance: Psilocybin; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fort Madison, IA- The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has reported the arrest of a Fort Madison man and woman on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. 54-year-old Jerry Beames and 38-year-old Sherri Beames, both of Fort Madison, were both arrested Thursday, June 30th, in the 1700 block of 35th street in Fort Madison. Jerry Beames was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd or Subsequent Offense, Maintaining a Drug House, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Child Endangerment. Sherri Beames was charged with Maintaining a Drug House, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Child Endangerment. The arrests of Jerry and Sherri Beames stem from an execution of a search warrant at a residence by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force. During the search of the residence, Investigators discovered illegal narcotics, and drug paraphernalia that suggests the routine use of illegal substances. During the investigation, it was also found that there was a minor child living in the residence.
