THE owners of a Cumbrian pub hope to create a hub for the community and put a smile on the faces of local residents. David and Jessica Collins have reopened the Blue Bell in the centre of Dalston to punters and hope to turn the local around. David has a background in running luxury hotels such as Leeming House in Ullswater and the Old England Hotel & Spa in Windermere. Jessica, however, has plied her trade as a restaurant manager. They are hoping to utilise their skills to make a success of the pub while spending more time with their family.
