Gastonia getting new development downtown A former business office known as the York Professional Building near the downtown post office will receive a makeover in hopes of attracting retail use and more businesses. Cramerton-based Lenox Development Group will also offer office space for lease in the 8,300-square-foot brick building at 155 S. York St. that was constructed in 1930. Lenox Development hopes to attract retail type use, such as a coffee shop or restaurant, for the upper level of the building and office space use for the lower level.
