Parking meter enforcement suspended The Herkimer village board has voted to suspend enforcement of the downtown parking meters for two months, from Feb. 18 until April 18.   During that time, the police department will monitor the parking and forward its findings to the mayor and village board for their consideration regarding parking meter enforcement in the future.
