Downtown IC combatant accused of assaulting police officer to get to another fight
4/17/21 A man involved in a fight in downtown Iowa City faces charges that he assaulted a police officer so he could get to another fight. Iowa City Police say they broke up a fight between 32-year-old Levelle Horne of Clinton and another man near the corner of Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue just before 1am Saturday. An officer identified himself and told Horne and the other man to stop fighting and go home.
