Dunfermline care home operator pledges to pay pandemic bonus when Government funding released

A DUNFERMLINE care home operator has pledged to pay bonuses due to staff as soon as the money is received from the Scottish Government. One West Fifer had contacted the Press and raised concerns over the fact that staff at Leys park Care home had not received the £500 promised to them by the First Minister. The person, who said they had connections with the home, said employees had thought they would get the bonus by the end of March. "They are now being told they may get it in July. Some of the staff, kitchen, cleaning have been told they will only get £250," they said.
