Members of the public are to have their say on the draft development plan for Waterford. The plan which shapes how the city and county will develop between now and 2028 will go on public display for 10 weeks over the summer from the 14th of June. Waterford Council say members of the public will be able to access the draft plan via public counters/ libraries and an online portal. Works have begun on the Grand Hotel in Tramore. The hotel has lain empty and in a state of near dereliction for the past 6 years. Waterford Council had been pursuing the owner, Guoqing Wu, through the courts since a derelict sites notice was issued in 2018. Workmen appeared on site on Tuesday.
