The Western News reached out to Libby City Council candidates running in the Nov. 7 municipal election. The information below was provided by the candidates and edited for spelling and punctuation.
Six men running for three, four-year seats gathered at the Maki Theater last Thursday, including incumbents Zach McNew, Hugh Taylor and Brian Zimmerman, as well as challengers Darrel “DC” Orr, Ian Smith and Brad Nelson were at the 90-minute affair along with 14 citizens.
Williamson said the consolidation could include offices in the county’s Libby Annex, treatment court, forester and Asbestos Resource Program.
