Daily Light Report Since 2003, the Ellis County Master Gardener Association (ECMGA) has offered college scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in Ellis County. Applications are now available for seniors graduating in 2021. 1 killed, 1 injured in three-vehicle crash in Ellis County Daily Light Report One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday in Ellis County.  According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at approximately 3:06 p.m. Dec. 14, DPS troopers were called to the scene of a three-vehicle accident on SH34, which is about one mile south of the Kaufman County line in Ellis County.
