(MENAFN - The Post) MASERU -OPERATIONS at the Queen 'Mamohato Memorial Hospital, also known as TÅ¡epong, has ground to a halt after supporting staff joined the nurses' strike which has been dragging on for the past two weeks. Chefs, receptionists, ward clerks and other support staff joined the strike on Monday. This has completely crippled the referral hospital's operations. The nurses are complaining that their salaries are lower than those of their counterparts at other hospitals. They are also demanding improved working conditions. (MENAFN - The Post) MASERU -THE National Covid-19 Secretariat (Nacosec) says it is rolling out mass-testing to target super-spreader events and hot spots. This was said by Nacosec's chief of staff, Thabo Ntoi, during a virtual press conference this week. (MENAFN - The Post) MASERU -THE National Covid-19 Secretariat (Nacosec)'s offices at Avani Maseru Hotel were temporarily shut down on Monday after it failed to clear rental arrears running from July last year. The Nacosec was established in June last year to spearhead the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. It has however failed to pay rent since it occupied its offices at the hotel.
