Spatial doubles its production capacity with its latest expansion in RAKEZ

(MENAFN - Rakez) Ras Al Khaimah, 21 February, 2021: Spatial, a global manufacturing leader in aviation training equipment, has recently announced its relocation to a bigger facility in RAKEZ. The newly acquired 12,775 m2 land is 73% larger than its previous location, in which the company is set to increase its production capacity by more than 50% and to serve its global customer base, including blue-chip airlines such as Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Qantas and British Airways. The new facility will be fully operational by the end of Q1 2021.
“We take pride in servicing global aviation leaders from our base in Ras Al Khaimah; specifically, in RAKEZ. The transport of our goods in and out of the facility has been made quick, easy and cost-effective; and the accommodating team at RAKEZ made our expansion decision an easier one,” said Marc Van den Broucque, Managing Director. “With this new expansion, we are well placed to satisfy the increase in demand for our products, which has persisted through the pandemic, as well as to cater for future expansion. We are optimistic to what the future holds for Spatial, and we are certain, we are on track to hold a larger market share within the aviation training industry.”

Australian Dollar Outlook: Rising Iron and Copper Prices to Bolster AUD/USD

Australia's Covid vaccination program officially kicks off this week
Rising iron ore and copper prices are bolstering AUD sentiment
AUD/USD eyes 0.7900 psychological level as prices push higher
The Australian Covid-19 vaccination program officially started this week. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, along with a group of aged care residents, received a dose of Pfizer's vaccine. Prime Minister Morrison described it as a ‘historic day' for the country. The initial phase is set to deliver thousands of vaccine doses to healthcare workers and other priority patients in the coming weeks.
Aussie-Dollar sentiment may receive a boost if the vaccination program's initial rollout is smoothly administered. AUD/USD gained nearly 1.50% last week as rising commodity prices bolstered the pair's outlook. Iron ore one of Australia's main exports is trading near 10-year highs after benchmark future prices surged late last week as Chinese markets reopened following the Lunar New Year holiday break.

Whopping lead for Labor ahead of WA election, but federal Newspoll deadlocked at 50-50

Author:
Adrian Beaumont
(MENAFN - The Conversation) With less than three weeks left until the March 13 Western Australian election, the latest Newspoll gives Labor a 68-32 lead, two-party-preferred. If replicated on election day, this would be a 12.5% swing to Labor from the 2017 election two party result.
Analyst Kevin Bonham describes the Newspoll result as 'scarcely processable' and says it is the most lopsided result in Newspoll history for any state or federally.
Primary votes were 59% for Labor, up from 42.2% at the 2017 election, 23% for the Liberals (down from 31.2% in 2017), 2% National (5.4%), 8% Greens (8.9%) and 3% One Nation (4.9%). This poll was conducted February 12-18 from a sample of 1,034.
