Policing in england and wales is in a potentially perilous state, with victims being let down, criminal cases shelved and suspects left untracked thats the warning from the police watchdog. Her majestys inspectorate of constabulary says most of the 43 forces in england and wales are providing a good service, but a third require improvement.
