In recent weeks, several local councils across Britain have publicly called for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. Initially I planned to tell these delusional, jumped-up, pompous blowhards to stop wasting their time on matters that don’t remotely concern them, and instead focus their attention on the places they were actually elected to serve. Helping Students Find Uncongested Study Spaces
It is often difficult for students to find available places to study on large college campuses. In this article, we describe a method by which places to study at Cornell University can be located. We used Internet traffic data collected from wireless access points as a proxy for congestion, and for finding the least congested study spaces and best routes to them.
