Governor's Budget Could Make Grants Available to Towns and Counties
February 11, 2021 February 10, 2021 Gov. Bill Lee included “Local Government Recovery and Rebuilding Direct Appropriation Grant” allocations in his Fiscal Year 2021-22 budget proposal. If approved, the grant could bring almost $742,000.00 to our county. Funds will be available after August 1, 2021. The grants are one-time funding and are to be used exclusively for one-time expenses as opposed to annually recurring expenses.
