After reviewing a recent assessment from the New York State Department of Education, the Ken-Ton Union Free School District has received good news with respect to the state’s accountability program. Superintendent Sabatino Cimato reported during the school board meeting on May 9 that the Ken-Ton District and all of its schools received the LSI –
"Hungary's position on migration is clear: We do not want to become a country of immigrants," the resolution said
Gina Talbert, superintendent of the Wyandanch district, described the school's progress as the result of years of intensive work that included accelerated coursework for advanced students, together with intensive tutoring in English for those newly arrived from other countries.
