Familiar Marlow sights from the 1970s In this week's Then and Now, we take a look back at Marlow in the 1970s. This first picture shows the former Odeon Cinema, in Station Road, with what is now known as Marlow Place next door. The cinema is thought to have started life as the County Cinema in 1938 and was set back from the road with a forecourt in front. It was taken over and renamed Odeon in the 1940s and later again taken over and renamed Regal Cinema. It was sadly demolished in 1985, and offices named Regal House now stand on the site.
