Did you know? K-pop once had an ahead-of-its-time all-transgender idol group
Origins: The four-member group, which consisted of members Sinae, Sahara, Yoona and Binu, was reportedly chosen from a pool of around 400 trans talents who auditioned for Lady. The group was reportedly inspired by Harisu, South Korea’s first transgender singer. About the members: Sinae, the group’s leader and oldest member, was 28 years old when Lady debuted, while Sahara, the group's main vocalist and second oldest member, was 25 years old.
