Lok Sabha elections phase 3 voting: In this phase, over 17 crore voters will vote to decide the fate of more than 283 Lok Sabha seats. During the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, the fate of many big faces is on the line including Union Home Ministers Amit Shah, Mansukh Mandaviya, Parshottam Rupala, Prahlad Joshi and SP Singh Baghel.

The BJP won 72 out of the 93 seats contested in this phase during the 2019 general election.
The second phase of elections in Karnataka s 14 remaining Lok Sabha seats is set to see a showdown between the ruling Congress and the BJP, with the JD(S) supporting the BJP. This phase covers northern districts, and the JD(S) is not contesting. In the 2019 polls, the BJP swept these seats. Over 2.59 crore voters are eligible, and security arrangements are in place. Prominent candidates include former CMs and Union Ministers. The Congress hopes to put up a strong fight, while the BJP aims to maintain its dominance, making this a crucial election for both parties.
