FIRE crews tackled a blaze for three hours at Halbeath after a summer house set alight. Alistair Wood alerted the emergency services when a neighbour saw smoke billowing out of the roof of the building in his garden at Long Row around 4.15pm last Wednesday. The 70-year-old told the Press that he was thankful that the emergency was not more serious.
