William Howard School Thousands of children enjoyed a traditional Christmas treat with their friends to mark the end of a school year like no other. A COUNCIL has hailed a generous donation from a haulier to buy Christmas toys for under-privileged children toys at Longtown Primary School. John Miller Ltd, based in Lockerbie, has made a £750 donation to buy 22 children toys at the school, Lochinvar Centre, and another eight that have been identified. Karen Johnson said Arthuret Parish Council had worked with the school to identify those most in need.
