Mayor Nadine Woodward made the announcement Monday, pushing back the open time from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Since the cooling centers opened this weekend, Woodward says 53 people have used the Looff Carrousel center, and people stayed for long visits at the city’s libraries.
